Finished version of the Hellboy I did for @comicartclub.
Theme of the week was Hellboy and I love using a lot of solid balck and white.
I ended up changing the Swastika for the Ragna Rok symbol from the first Hellboy book Seed of Destruction.
Sorry for the constant editing of this, I can never spontaneously write anything.

Another image for @comicartclub. I played Legacy of Kain Defiance, but none of the other games in the series. I never even finished it, my girlfriend did.
It was fun to try and stretch a bit and try my hand at painting. Still doesn’t “feel” right, but then again I’ve only tried this twice.

“The paths fork and divide. With each step you take through Destiny’s garden, you make a choice; and every choice determines future paths. However, at the end of a lifetime of walking you might look back, and see only one path stretching out behind you; or look ahead, and see only darkness.” - Neil Gaiman

@comicartclub had Gantz as the comic of choice this week.
I decided to follow the style of page breaks the artist used and add a bit of cheeky pinup which is something I rarely ever do. I think I still ended up tamer than the actual comic did.

Waiting for a train.
Finished off the Spirited Away theme for @comicartclub. I was trying to think of a moment from the film that really stood out and I thought of the platform just out in the expanse of water was an amazing visual moment.
Edit: Added reflections

Finally got Photoshop worked out, a bit too late to get working on stuff backed up, but enough to start at least posting some work in progress.
First up is my favorite member of the Green Lantern Corps for @comicartclub. It’s embarrassing to be late with this since it was my theme that week.

Another WIP for the comic art club. This time for Game of Thrones. Just rough pencils which will give you an idea of what it will be hopefully.
Finally finished the image I had. I hated to be without Photoshop for so long, it really made me think of how much I was starting to use it more often than pen and ink.
Here is the stages of drawing + colouring Medphyll for @comicartclub

Had a long week so I ended up with a lazy weekend due to feeling so drained from work over the week.
I tried colouring my submission to the Comic Art Club, but it was just not feeling right. I think I might have a good base, but the way I was feeling yesterday, I couldn’t really trust myself on that.
