I’ve liked Hellboy since the first mini and throw money at Mike Mignola when he releases product.

Something about it appeals to a part of my art that likes the black and white with heavy shadows. Something I feel I excel at compared to my other crap.

Some Dead Space fanwork I’ve left to stew since 2009. I should finish it since I like it so much. I originally planned it as a desktop, but I with my habit of keeping my icons on the right side of the screen, I had to flip the image. Which throws off the look since he asymmetrical.

I should go back to finish it eventually. I wonder if anyone else parks their art for a while… like years.

Something I’m working on for the next theme from @comicartclub.

Having fun using the pencil brush, I decided to build up the character in “pencil” first before going to inks and colour.

His soul sword will be in white, the black is just a placeholder for it for the moment.

Trying to get this done by tomorrow, I don’t think I’ll be able to get it done by then.

Also, I’m not liking this at all. It’s not gelling the way I want it to. I wish I could paint but I have the colour theory of a vole.

Some more stuff I dug up in sketchbooks scattered around my house. I’m still not used to digital and the tablet, pencil and paper are still my go to tools.

Anyway, thses are little character designs for an aborted webcomic featuring superheroes. Nothing really came of it, although I do like the little ninja in the lower left hand corner.

Finally got Photoshop worked out, a bit too late to get working on stuff backed up, but enough to start at least posting some work in progress.

First up is my favorite member of the Green Lantern Corps for @comicartclub. It’s embarrassing to be late with this since it was my theme that week.
